Along with new, improved bus service, Vancouver's TransLink launched some snazzy promotional materials.
"Metro Vancouver will say goodbye to the B-Line and hello to RapidBus," reports Jennifer Saltman.
"On Tuesday, TransLink announced that it will retire the B-Line moniker — except in the case of the 99 B-Line — when it launches five new or upgraded express routes serving 11 Metro Vancouver communities in January 2020," adds Saltman.
"The RapidBus routes will be up to 20 per cent faster than current local service because of bus-only lanes, traffic signal priority, queue jumps at intersections, fewer stops, and all-door boarding on articulated hybrid buses that sport a new green-and-blue colour scheme."
