The so-called Robert Moses Cup invites the gaming- and planning-inclined to design a game capturing the essence of Robert Moses.
Heather Smith reports on the Robert Moses Cup, a game-making competition that invites participants to design a video game or a "tabletop game." According to Smith, "interested teams need to register before midnight PST on April 29, but they’ll have through the end of July to complete their game designs."
Tim Hwang has spearheaded communications for the contest so far. Hwang is the co-founder of the Awesome Foundation for the Arts & Sciences and one of the Cup's organizers, who talks with Smith about the practices and life of Moses and how they might inform a game. Smith also notes the growing relevance of video games related to planning.
