The Living New Deal Project Map from the University of California, Berkeley was released earlier this month, pinpointing all of the New Deal projects around the United States.
A new project from the University of California at Berkeley visualizes and remembers the impact of 7,626 different sites spurred by the New Deal. Matthew Yglesias of Vox describes the New Deal projects' impacts in his neighborhood in Washington D.C. as financing "vital civic improvements like the completion of Malcolm X / Meridian Hill Park, but also things like the tunnels under Scott Circle and Thomas Circle that disrupted the urban fabric for the sake of suburban commuters." A new publically available map showing the locations of the different projects is online now.
