"The success of the High Line park in Manhattan hasn’t gone unnoticed internationally," according to an article by Steve Mollman. So much so, in fact, that "Singapore is creating its own version."

"Singapore’s new park will be about 10 times longer at 24 km," according to Mollman, who describes the project approved in November in more detail.

"The city will be accepting public feedback on the plan in the months ahead, while the winning team carries out the preliminary design and feasibility study of an initial 4 km stretch," reports Mollman. The article includes lots of renderings of the winning design proposal.
