In a poll of more than 700 Massachusetts voters, over 80 percent support raising money for transportation investments.

The Barr Foundation Transportation Poll also gathered opinions on a number of other hot-button transportation issues. Nearly 80 percent supported banning hands-on use of electronic devices while driving—and a similar number would extend that ban to walking.

On local issues, respondents supported the plans to add electronic toll collection to Mass Turnpike. They were divided on congestion pricing, with more than half opposing a plan to raise tolls in and out of Boston during rush hours.

Results of the poll are available in Greenfield's Recorder.
