The latest edition of the Planetizen Week in Review starts with a first to our knowledge: the mayor of a major U.S. city recommended a list of planning books for citizens to read and learn from as they prepare to participate in a comprehensive planning process. We've also got some serious eye candy in the form of renderings for a proposed downtown freeway cap park in Atlanta, the grand opening of the extended Dallas Streetcar, a brand-spanking-new transit map of the United States, and a study that quantifies the footprint of spot zoning in Los Angeles.
