Facebook as a Community Planning Tool?

"A Washington, D.C. developer has created a Facebook profile for a recently-purchased building to solicit public feedback on redevelopment alternatives.

The property, a historic trolley barn in Southeast known as the 'Blue Castle' (it's painted bright blue), currently houses two charter schools and a day treatment program for the developmentally disabled. But the 100,000-square-foot building is considered a prime location for retail development.

The Facebook site received 65 unique hits in its first day on the web."
