JSTOR Daily has compiled a syllabus for reading on the causes and consequences of institutional racism.

"Educators everywhere are asking how can we help students understand that this was not an isolated, tragic incident perpetrated by a few bad individuals, but part of a broader pattern of institutionalized racism," according to an article by Catherine Halley announcing a syllabus of JSTOR Daily stories. 

The article groups its syllabus into the following categories: 1) Racial (In)Justice: Putting Protest into Perspective, 2) Video Documentation & Police Brutality: Ethical Considerations, and 3) Racial, Economic, and Educational Disparities Go Hand in Hand.

A few of the selections are more related to the study and practice of planning than the other, still recommended selections:
