A new offering from Streetfilms, created by Clarence Eckerson Jr., showcases how Oakland transportation planners implemented the "Slow Streets" program that prioritizes people on bikes and pedestrians over automobiles on 74 miles of the city's streets. 

Oakland Department of Transportation Director Ryan Russo is featured in the film explaining the kinds of low-impact changes made to streets to implement the new priority on active transportation.
