There's a formula for bang-up housing tracts in the suburbs and a formula for Tim Hortons franchises in the downtown...the computer is an essential tool for contemporary practice but one that fails to truly connect the hand to the eye. 'Virtual Clay' [brings] architects closer to their designs. The squishy, gel-like form is designed as a malleable mouse so that all of your fingers and your palm dictate what happens on the computer screen."
