Bowing to pressure from its 127,000 home builder subscribers, Professional Builder magazine withdrew its 2003 Professional Achievement Award that it had planned to present to the American Planning Association for its Growing Smart planning statute reform project. The magazine was to confer the award at the "One Night/One Industry" celebration on January 20th at the National Association of Home Builders convention in Las Vegas, Nevada.
