Clickhole, the Buzzfeed-style spinoff of The Onion, has produced a listicle of what the New York Subway line you're riding says about your personality. Prepare to learn nothing and laugh a little.
Regular transit users know that different routes can take on different personalities—whether it's the driver, the neighborhood, or the route's regulars that define that personality is a matter of subtle distinctions that doesn't lend well to generalization.
But Clickhole, a satirical site that holds a mirror to the most superficial tendencies of internet users has gone and said what we're all thinking, albeit with a kind of devious twist that degrades as the post goes on.
So, for instance, if you ride the 3 Train, "You enjoy transportation, but it's not your life." And if you ride the M Train, you should "Time for you to get initiated into the C Train gang, the Chambers Street Baddies." Finally, if you ride the M Train, "Take a bow, because you've found NYC's hidden M train! You just got 250 NYC+ Points added to your account!"
