Six organizations focused on housing and social justice have launched an initiative dedicated to a "transformative vision of housing, land and economic justice," and to fighting actions by the Trump administration that undermine access to housing.

CarsonWatch is focused on advancing a positive agenda based on the belief that housing is a fundamental human right; and also on holding HUD Secretary Ben Carson, President Trump and their allies accountable for their shameful housing agenda…

CarsonWatch is monitoring HUD actions, sharing actionable intelligence with housing groups on the ground, and helping local and national groups organize responses to new threats.

The group will organize communities impacted by the housing crisis, beginning with a Renters' Week of Action in September.

Most of the coalition partners operate nationally. They include Right to the City, Homes for All, Public Advocates, the Poverty & Race Research Action Council, and the Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights Under Law.
