Castle Rock Parkway, which connects US 85 and I-25 south of Denver (or north of Colorado Springs, depending on your perspective), opened service to the public this week.

"Nearly three years after construction began, Castle Rock Parkway saw the first vehicles roll across its smooth new surface Thursday morning," according to an article by John Aguilar.
The two-mile long parkway connects US 85 and I-25. The project is expected to relieve congestion on the Founders/Meadows parkway exchange over I-25. "The $85.7 million project broke ground in October 2013 and ranks as the Douglas County town’s largest transportation project ever," adds Aguilar.
