The Regional Plan Association has created an animated video that simply and artfully explains the importance of a new Hudson River tunnel.
"The Regional Plan Association has been drumming into the heads of New York metro-area commuters and politicians just how crucial a new rail tunnel under the Hudson River is for the region’s economy," according to an article by Joe Anuta. "And on Wednesday, to make its point, the Manhattan-based nonprofit released a short animated video that lays out just how dire the situation has become."
Thomas Wright, head of the Regional Plan Association, narrates the short video, which illustrates the consequences of continuing to neglect the Hudson River tunnels. The video explains in clear terms, and illustrates with graphics and animations, the current state of the tunnel and the dire consequences of failing to repair and replace the tunnels.
