According to a post on Brownstoner, "architecture firm WXY Studio has presented its recommendations to link the waterfront, courthouses and the Navy Yard with a series of green spaces — an effort known as the Brooklyn Strand."
The article includes details about the plan's proposal, including a series of renderings pulled from WXY Studio's presentation to the Downtown Brooklyn Partnership, which is spearheading the effort.
So far the plan is largely speculative, because "[questions] remain about funding and what comes next." The Downtown Brooklyn Partnership ended the presentation by seeking letters of support to pass on to the city.
