Rahm Emmanuel's latest appointee is transportation secretary Gabe Klein, who, columnist John Hilkevitch writes, "...promises to shake things up here."
Klein was D.C.'s transportation director for two years, during which time he set up the city's bike sharing system, launched a new bus service and started building a streetcar.
Hilkevitch talks to Klein about his boss' goals for Chicago:
"He wants to create a really livable, cutting-edge city, and he sees it more as a driver for economic growth than anything else. He's one of the only leaders in America that gets that."
