The Obama Presidential Center just opened the first playground tied to a presidential library. Block Club Chicago went to explore the unique space at its grand opening, which also unveiled the center's museum, a new public library branch and other facilities.
According to the article, "The 21,000-square-foot playground, located on the Midway Plaisance and across Stony Island Avenue from the Obama Center campus, is the first fully accessible play space in the city, according to the Park District. The space features elements that support 'physical, cognitive, sensory and social play,' the Park District said in a press release."
