A fourth scooter-related fatality has the city of Atlanta taking drastic measures.

"Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms announced Thursday that she is banning the nighttime use of electric scooters and electric bikes, between the hours of 9 p.m. and 4 a.m.," reports Stephen Deere.
Four people have died while riding scooters already in Atlanta, the most recent earlier this week. Three of those deaths occurred after 9 pm.
"Bottoms said that the city’s planning department has requested that e-scooter vendors disable the devices during the hours they are banned," adds Deere.
