It's been a rough week for the Cincinnati Bell Connector.

Mollie Lair reports on the technical problems with the Cincinnati Bell Connector that knocked the system out of commission this week—service impacts will last through the weekend.
Problems arose on Wednesday, but by Thursday afternoon Cincinnati Bell officials announced all streetcar service would cease operations until Monday.
According to Lair, the technical problems arose because of cold weather in the city. "Most of the issues are related to the air compressors, which are required for the safe operation of the vehicles," writes Lair. "The air compressors operate the sanders, which are essential in decelerating the vehicle in slick conditions, a Metro representative said."
Lair also adds that the streetcars' breaking systems and electronics have produced daily issues for the system.
