The Cincinnati Business Courier reports on the local effect of a long-standing state law.
Chris Wetterich reveals a curious lack of transparency regarding the forthcoming Cincinnati Streetcar: "Section 5501.55(D)(1) of the Ohio Revised Code exempts investigative reports and audits of accidents involving the streetcar from disclosure under the state’s open records law."
According to Wetterich, Cincinnati Councilmember Kevin Flynn is working to change the law, which went into effect in 1996. The streetcar will begin service on September 8, 2016.
