The 34th America's Cup will, after much debate, be in San Francisco. The event will encompass a large portion of the city's waterfront, including Fort Mason, Crissy Field, Alcatraz, and Treasure Island. Hundreds of million dollars will be invested to improve those areas as well as various piers and terminals.
