City Council To Take Close Look At CRA

The LA City Council is considering taking over the management of the CRA. The City Controller says unlawful activity may have occurred.

The CRA bought land that exceeded its appraised value by $1.57 million. Additionally, the new director hired a private investigation firm without authorization. Employee union representatives state that the CRA has become a virtual police state.
