Work on MARTA's Rail Station Rehabilitation Program will continue over several years, with some big changes for Downtown Atlanta included in the plan.

Josh Green reports from Atlanta: "MARTA is gearing up to implement $300 million worth of upgrades to train stations with changes both decorative and transformative."
MARTA, the regional transportation agency for the Atlanta area, broke ground on the Rail Station Rehabilitation Program earlier this week, with plans to eventually deliver improvements in all 38 stations in the system, Green reports.
The Rail Station Rehabilitation Program is funded by the half-cent sales tax approved by voters in the Atlanta region in 2016.
