A satirical piece by Paul Buffano in The Onion pokes fun at Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, imagining an enthusiastic meeting between Buttigieg’s husband Chasten and a traffic cone.

“It’s so nice to finally meet one of Pete’s work friends,” Chasten is “quoted” as saying.

“At press time, Chasten Buttigieg was said to be providing the traffic cone with a tour of the house before they settled in for cocktails and appetizers.”
