Catherine Hinshaw, senior state government affairs associate for the American Planning Association (APA), writes a blog to detail the ongoing efforts of the organization to lobby state governments on issues important to the planning profession, and identifies three of the primary issues that state legislatures have a chance to take action on this year: 1) housing, 2) climate change, and 3) the 2020 Census.
