Displacement concerns surrounding stadium plans for the FC Cincinnati Major League Soccer team have grown into a citywide call for development approvals reform.

"Cincinnati community members are rallying together to create a response to new building developments throughout the city," reports Ambriehl Crutchfield.
"'The West End Must Be Saved' is a call for community members to address development that results in displacement. A dispute between housing advocates and FC Cincinnati is driving the conversation," according to Crutchfield.
The neighborhood advocates have coalesced behind the organization called Neighborhoods United Cincinnati, pushing to end development that alters mostly African-American neighborhoods.
