Milwaukee's mayor has a $160 million plan to extend The Hop streetcar, but the proposal so far lacks the necessary political support.
Earlier in May, Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett proposed three streetcar extensions around the city.
Jeramey Jannene has been tracking the progress of Mayor Barrett's proposal and providing analysis throughout the month. Most recently, the news is not positive for the quick adoption of Barrett's vision, after the Milwaukee Common Council put the proposal on hold.
