Calgary’s bus rapid transit (BRT) bus service now has its first line up and running. The MAX Purple Line, which runs on three kilometers of 17 Avenue SE in the Alberta city, is only the first part of the city’s plan to expand the BRT. “MAX Purple is one of three new lines for the city of Calgary’s BRT,” Roads and Bridges reports.
