Urban and Regional Planning has landed a spot on Business Insider's list of the "15 High-Paying Jobs For People Who Don't Like Stress", a claim we're sure some of you may take issue with.
What do Dental Hygienists, Actuaries, and Urban and Regional Planners have in common? Apparently they're all making decent money performing a job that causes relatively little stress. At least that's what Laurence Shatkin, Ph.D., "a career information expert," has concluded.
Using data gathered from the Bureau of Labor Statistics and Occupational Information Network (O*NET), "Shatkin compared average salaries and stress levels of the 747 occupations identified by the U.S. Department of Labor to identify jobs with that perfect combination of high pay and low stress," writes Vivian Giang.
