The Guardian has gathered a roundtable discussion, of sorts, to celebrate six of the best urban walks from around the world.

Guardian readers send dispatches from Portland, Oregon; Dublin, Ireland; London, U.K.; Istanbul, Turkey; Plovdiv, Bulgaria; and Detroit, Michigan.

The survey of experiences from these six cities follows an earlier post on the same subject, described with a different frame that focuses more on the benefits of urban wandering, regardless of location.
