A light rail line into the southeastern suburbs of Denver is getting 2.3 miles of new track.
"Work has begun on extending the Regional Transportation District's Southeast Light Rail Line, which will connect Lone Tree to the line's Lincoln Station," reports The Denver Post.
The extension will add 2.3 miles to the existing 19-mile line. "The expansion will include three new stations in suburban Douglas County, as well as a 1,300-space park-and-ride lot," according to the article.
