The Swansea Tidal Lagoon, planned for the Bristol Channel on the southern coast of Wales, spares no expense in delivering first-of-its-kind renewable energy.
"UK developer Tidal Lagoon Power has lodged a proposal to create the world’s first electricity-generating tidal lagoon. Demanding a budget of over $1.5 billion, the Swansea Tidal Lagoon is slated to generate clean, renewable energy for 155,000 homes for up to 120 years," according to The Architect's Newspaper.
The post also describes the technology and design that will create Swansea Tidal Lagoon as well as the "nautical leisure" aspects that inform its master plan (created by LDA Design).
