"The state of Hawaii, the city of Washington, D.C., and Oakland County, Mich., are home to the best government websites in the nation," according to the "2014 Best of the Web awards," a joint project of Government Technology and e.Republic's Center for Digital Government.
Colin Wood shares the news about the awards, explaining that 300 sites were judged in three categories—state, city, and county—with the aforementioned three emerging as the best of the best. Wood also provides details about what makes each of these sites worthy of the honor.
