Analyst Vikram Mansharamani thinks China's construction bubble is going to burst, and he says the number of skyscrapers going up in the country is a clear indicator.
Mansharamani has developed a method of predicting construction booms and busts, and the building of skyscrapers is high on his list.
Reporter Daniel Gross talked with Mansharamani:
"Tall buildings aren't just symbolic of reckless ambition. 'Skyscrapers are manifestation of easy money, overconfidence, and hubris,' he says. And they are excellent indicators of a top."
Mansharamani equates the skyscraper boom with the Dutch tulip mania of the 17th century.
