In a commentary on the Interior nominee, James Huffman says that Interior needs a free market approach, and that Gale Norton is the woman for the job. He points out that some environmental groups understand the importance of incentives and markets in the wise use and management of the environment, and are acquiring the property rights in the resources that they wish to protect.
