How will Southern California deal with an unprecedented pressure on the region's infrastructure?
In the next 10 to 20 years, the Los Angeles region is expected to experience tremendous growth -- in terms of both population and international trade -- putting unprecedented pressure on the region's infrastructure. Helping in this effort is the Los Angeles Economic Development Corporation's soon-to-be-released document, "60 Mile Circle: A Regional Portrait," which sets out a baseline for coming up with solutions by detailing the many challenges faced. Metro Investment Report speaks with with three LAEDC principals--Viggo Butler, Lee Harrington, & Greg Freeman--about what they hope this document will accomplish.
