Queensway Bay Project May Not Float

The entertainment portion of the final phase of the Queensway Bay Project is in trouble because the theaters have gone bankrupt. A new plan is needed.

This last portion of the Queensway Bay project was to be a major drawing card for the Long Beach Aquarium. But plans may have to be scrapped since the theaters are bankrupt. Opponents have maintained that the project is in violation of the Tidelands Trust. Proponents are planning to look at other options for the land.
