On the heels of another study confirming the acute housing shortage in Silicon Valley, San Jose Mayor Ron Gonzales has convened a 'housing production team.'

The housing production team formation comes on the heals of a new report by the Silicon Valley Manufacturing Group on housing, jobs, traffic and other issues. The report shows that continued job growth will result in a projected shortage of 46,000 homes in the valley by the year 2010.
