James Howard Kunstler deplores the "delusional" thinking on the part of Senator John Kerry that the chaos in the Middle East and America's gluttonous oil consumption are not related.
According to Kuntsler, Senator Kerry and many of Kunstler's fellow Democrats need to wake up to the fact that we can't go on consuming oil in our "drive-in utopia" while at the same time opposing the war in Iraq. As Kunstler says, "somebody really needs to inform them that war is the answer if they want to enjoy a life of low-gas-milage-easy-motoring."
