The Las Vegas City Council will consider a new Downtown Las Vegas Master Plan this week.

John Treanor reports on the ongoing process to draft and approve a new Downtown Las Vegas Master Plan. According to to Treanor the plan "looks to drastically change several sections of Downtown Las Vegas" and is intended as a "'reset' of the current development plan," which stalled during the recent downturn.
The draft master plan totals 300 pages and has a planning horizon of 30 years. The City Council is expected to vote on the plan on June 15.
