Planetizen readers are familiar with the failed proposal by developer Chris Hansen to build a new arena in the SoDo neighborhood of Seattle to attract the return of an NBA team. The story also includes an angle involving the Port of Seattle, which opposed the development.

Samantha Bee's TBS show Full Frontal with Samantha Bee didn't focus on the sports stadium, as one of her colleagues in the late night comedy news field did last year. Instead, Bee notes the misogynistic treatment of the city's NBA fans toward the females on the City Council that voted against the proposal.

Bee's segment includes a lot of vulgar language (both from the general public and Bee herself), so be prepared to keep the volume down at work.
