Reviewing "A New World Trade Center: Design Proposals from Leading Architects Worldwide", John King writes: "Consider this a Rorschach test on contemporary architecture: some readers will see a revelatory glimpse of the urban future, others the strutting of narcissists willing to capitalize on a terrorist attack. Shortly after the destruction of the World Trade Center, New York gallery owner Max Protetch asked 125 architects to participate in an exhibition 'that examined the ideas that September 11 was generating in the architectural world.' He received 60 responses..."
