It's a question being asked by the Knight Program in Community Building at the University of Miami. Charles Bohl is the program's director and author of a new book on "Placemaking." Arnold Spokane, a professor of education and psychology at Lehigh University, is one of this years Knight Fellows. Together, they are exploring what is takes to make compelling communities.
