The Daily Overview site posts crisp, colorful images taken from above, inviting site visitors to “look down” at the places we live. From the page’s mission statement: “We’ve made a decision that the majority of the images we capture will focus on this unnatural world, shining a light on the areas where our human activity - for better or worse - has shaped the landscape.”

For an idea of the site’s beautiful offerings, the three of the site's most recent images looked down on Chicago’s Midway Airport, a tent city in Mina, Saudi Arabia, and deforestation of the Bolivian rainforest.
