“I love being in cities,” said GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney, at a recent Conference of Mayors gathering in Miami. “All of your buildings are just the right height.”

Romney went on to explain, "Everything just feels properly zoned. The commercial and residential districts are just the right mix – the way it ought to be. I like seeing downtowns and the little neighborhoods dotted around the city center. It just feels right. I love trains."

After receiving modest applause, he added, "Some of my best friends own skyscrapers."
