The new ping pong table is constructed with weather-safe materials and is available to the public.
"Table-tennis fans got into the swing of things as a new ping-pong table was unveiled in Tompkins Square Park.
Park-goers squared off with staff from the Parks Department after the permanent concrete table was placed near the popular dog run at the center of the park on Saturday."
