Environmentalists File Suit Against WWII Memorial

The battle over a proposed World War II memorial in Washington D.C. continues with two groups filing a suit against the project.

"Opponents of the planned World War II memorial on the Mall returned to federal court yesterday in another attempt to stop the project, challenging a law signed by President Bush last week that barred further judicial review of the memorial site and design.In their lawsuit, the National Coalition to Save Our Mall and the World War II Veterans to Save the Mall said the legislation is unconstitutional because it encroaches on the judiciary branch's powers."
