The Congress for the New Urbanism has announced 15 winners of it's first annual Charter Awards.
"The Congress for the New Urbanism (CNU) announces the fifteen winners of the organization's first annual Charter Awards. These projects show the state of the art in New Urbanist development -- development of walkable neighborhoods that respect natural boundaries and enhance community. Charter Award winners range in size from a mixed-use building in Colorado to statewide plans for New Jersey and Western Australia. Winning projects are located in ten U.S. states and three foreign countries."
