Robert Venturi To Design Media Center

Award-winning architect Robert Venturi will design a media center with a "media element" and "electronic iconography."

When Robert Venturi won the 1991 Pritzker Prize, the jury wrote "His understanding of the urban context of architecture...has resulted in changing the course of architecture in this century." Robert Venturi has been selected to design a new media center in Gary, Indiana. The city hopes the new project will "erase negative perceptions" and stimulate the city.
