When Robert Venturi won the 1991 Pritzker Prize, the jury wrote "His understanding of the urban context of architecture...has resulted in changing the course of architecture in this century." Robert Venturi has been selected to design a new media center in Gary, Indiana. The city hopes the new project will "erase negative perceptions" and stimulate the city.
